Corporate Training

ITIS offers a wide range of advanced inspection solutions designed for various applications—from weld inspections to detecting hidden cracks, voids, porosity, and other internal flaws in metals, composites, plastics, and ceramics. Our solutions combine precision, user-friendly operation, specialized software, and durable performance.

Tube Inspection Services that ITIS can provide

Eddy Current Testing

Eddy Current Testing (ECT) is ideal for inspecting non-ferrous alloy tubes quickly and accurately. It detects issues like corrosion, erosion, pitting, wall loss, and cracks in tubes up to 3⅛ in. (79.4 mm) OD and 0.017–0.120 in. (0.432–3.04 mm) wall thickness. Common applications include condensers, feed water heaters, heat exchangers, and air conditioners.

Internal Rotatory Inspection System

Ultrasonic IRIS inspects ferrous, nonferrous, and nonmetallic tubes, detecting wall loss from corrosion, erosion, pitting, and more. It’s often used to verify results from other NDT methods like RFT, MFL, and ECT. Common uses include boilers, feed water heaters, air coolers, and heat exchangers.

Magnetic Flux Leakage Testing

Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) quickly detects wall loss, pitting, grooving, and cracks, and works well on finned carbon steel tubes. It suits tube sizes from ½ to 24 in. OD and up to ½ in. wall thickness. Applications include fin fan coolers, feed water heaters, and carbon steel heat exchangers.

Remote Field Testing

Remote Field Testing (RFT) effectively inspects ferromagnetic tubes like carbon steel for defects such as corrosion, erosion, and wear. It suits tubes from 0.5 to 2 in. OD and 0.028 to 0.134 in. wall thickness. Common uses include boilers, feed water heaters, and carbon steel heat exchangers.
